What to Expect in Your Animal Communication Session
When you book your session with Michelle, you’ll be asked to submit your intake form with photos of your animal. If your session is online, you will have the option to make a video recording on Zoom so you can review it later. If your session is in person, you have the option to make an audio recording on your phone.
During your session, Michelle will begin by connecting to the spirit of your pet and will verify with you that she is speaking with the correct animal. She will then ask your animal whatever they would like to share — often animals share information related to your questions or reason for booking a session, but sometimes there is unexpected information that proves very helpful. Once the animal has shared their opening thoughts, Michelle will turn to you for questions to ask your animal. You will ask one question at a time, and Michelle will convey the answers she receives, as closely as possible to what the animal shares. This can include words, pictures, sounds, body sensations, emotion and more. To complete your session, Michelle will ask the animal if they have anything else to share. Once they feel complete, Michelle will close the session.
According to your animal’s needs and what you discuss during your session, Michelle may send you a follow-up email that includes recommendations, resources or referrals. This may include information on nutrition and supplements, training and behavior intervention, complementary physical therapy/acupuncture/veterinary recommendations or connections to other practitioners.
Sessions are also available to connect with beloved animals who have passed on — the same process applies, and many clients find this deeply healing.

Animal Communication for Dogs, Cats, Horses and More
While animal communication sessions with dogs, cats and horses are most common, Michelle has also successfully given pet psychic readings with many other creatures.
Dog communication sessions are ideal for addressing reactivity, anxiety, aggression, separation issues, and getting to the root of behavioral challenges that trainers haven't been able to resolve.
Cat communication sessions can address litter box problems, aggression between cats, withdrawal, and health mysteries.

How do animals communicate in a pet psychic reading?
Animals communicate through many different means: they show me pictures, they speak words or phrases, I feel their body sensations, they give me things to smell, and sometimes they communicate through knowing. Just like humans can be more predominantly auditory, visual or sensory, animals are the same. Some animals show more pictures, some use more words, some share more feelings.
Can Animal Communication be done remotely or online?
Yes! Distance is no barrier to animal communication because it works energetically rather than physically. I offer virtual sessions via Zoom to clients in Portland, Oregon, across the US, and internationally. All you need is a photo of your animal and to have your questions ready. What animals can you communicate with?
I have been able to successfully communicate with every species of animal I have ever tried to talk to. Most sessions are with dogs, cats and horses, but I have also successfully communicated with birds, rabbits, snakes, lizards, goats, sheep, rats, squirrels and exotic pets. If you have an unusual animal, don't hesitate to reach out.
Can Animal Communication help diagnose pet health problems?
I am not a veterinarian and cannot officially "diagnose" an animal, but I can ask your pet how they're feeling, where in their body they are feeling discomfort, and tune in with their body energetically for more information. This kind of work is helpful in collaboration with veterinary care, especially in the case of "mystery maladies" and making sure that a treatment plan is effective and helping your pet.
Can Animal Communication help with end-of-life decisions for pets?
Absolutely. Supporting your beloved animal through the death process is an act of true love and generosity, and it can be hard to know when it's time. I can help you check in with your beloved animal and make sure the time is right and they're ready to go.
Can you communicate with a pet who has died?
Yes. The bonds of love transcend all space and time. I recommend waiting at least one month after an animal has passed to book a session. This will allow time for grief and strong emotions to process, which helps support a clearer connection. I have also found that animals may go through a healing process after leaving their bodies, and the connection becomes clearer after that period.
Can a pet psychic help find a lost or missing pet?
Animal Communication can be helpful in locating missing pets. I have been able to successfully help many animals return home, either by directing their humans to a specific location, or by guiding the animals to return home. However, there are just as many cases where an animal has gotten lost and passed away. I try to take lost animal cases as priority bookings because time is of the essence. How long does an Animal Communication session take?
Michelle offers 20 minute and 60 minute sessions that you can book immediately online. 20-minute sessions are great for quick check-ins with a single animal, or as a follow up to a longer session. 60-minute sessions are ideal for going deeper with a single animal, or brief check-ins with a maximum of three animals. Michelle also offers longer sessions (90 minutes, 2 hours or more) which are ideal for speaking with more than three animals, barn visits or special situations. How much does an Animal Communication session cost?
Animal Communication sessions (pet psychic readings) start at $100 for a 20-minute online session. 60-minute online sessions are priced at $250. Online sessions longer than 60 minutes, or in-person sessions in Portland, OR, must be scheduled with Michelle via email due to custom booking arrangements. Does my pet need to be present during the session?
No — your pet does not need to be present, awake, or even nearby during your session. Animal communication works energetically, so Michelle can connect with your animal whether they're in the same room, across the country, or have passed on. All that is needed is a clear photo of your animal submitted with your intake form before your session.
How do I prepare for an Animal Communication session?
Before your session, submit your intake form with a clear, recent photo of your animal. Take some time to think about your questions — what would you most like to understand about your pet? What challenges are you facing, or what do you most want to tell them? You don't need to do anything to “prepare” your animal — they will participate naturally. Come with an open mind and heart, and get excited to hear what your beloved pet has to say.
Is Animal Communication real? Does it actually work?
